This course is suitable for beginners to woodcarving and also for those who have more experience.

This course has a physical component to it. As we will be utilizing chisels, expect to work standing up and to require some level of physical exertion.

If you do already have experience in woodcarving, the carving & subtractive design aspects of this course (95% of the course) will still be relevant for you. Please bear in mind that, throughout the course, certain basics that may be redundant for someone with experience will still be covered for the benefit of those new to carving.

You can expect:

- 42 hours of in-person class time with the instructor.

- Website resources to supplement the in-person classes (you will continue to have access after the course has finished).

- Lots of hands-on time with a variety of tools and materials.

- Small class size (max of 5) to ensure optimal feedback, safety and mentoring.

The price for this course changes based on a variety of factors and expenses (such as material costs and offering the course through an institution VS offering it 'in-house').

However, you should bring a comfortable pair of clothes, good footwear, some food and water.
